Country Women’s Association

COLAS QLD were engaged by Shadforth Civil Contractors to assist in resurfacing the carpark at Country Woman’s Association Hall located in Cooroy. The Country Women’s Association is an organisation which was established in 1922 with branches in rural towns across Australia, with the goal to bring woman in rural communities together to support the local community. Shadforth and CQL worked together to rebuild and resurface a 300m2 carpark. This included Shadforth constructing a gravel base which was primed, spray sealed and asphalted by CQL. The works were performed by the Yatala Spray Seal Crew and the Caloundra Asphalt Crew. The members at the CWA were so grateful for the generosity shown by Shadforth and CQL for completing the works whch will enable their members to park on a safe durable surface for years to come. Well done to Cameron Smith and his team for organising to help provide this invaluable service to the CWA
