Tropic Asphalts rebranded

Tropic Asphalt have been rebranded as COLAS as of 1 January 2019. The New South Wales asphalt operations along with the SRS spray sealing operations have been consolidated into the existing entity called COLAS New South Wales. The sealing operations are being managed by Jacob Dawes out of the Camellia premises. The Hunter asphalt operations have moved their administration office to the asphalt plant at Tomago. Wes Pettiford is the General Manager for all the COLAS NSW operations. Jonathan Hoffman has been appointed as the State Technical Manager for COLAS QLD.

The Tropic Asphalts operations at Caloundra have been incorporated into COLAS Queensland along with the SRS and Sunstate Roads asphalt and spray sealing operations. Cameron Nisbett has been appointed as the General Manager for COLAS QLD. Luke Murphy is the State Technical Manager for COLAS NSW.

By consolidating the existing operations into a single state based organisation under the COLAS brand we will be better placed to provide our customers with a total pavement solution with a stronger technical focus.
