2018 marks 10 years of COLAS operations in Australia since the acquisition of a 51% shareholding In SAMI Bitumen Technologies. Since then COLAS has experienced rapid growth with the acquisition of a number of local companies and the consolidation of the business as we know it today under the COLAS Australia Group. This included the acquisition of the following companies which provides COLAS with an extensive foot print in the bituminous binders and contracting industry across the continent:
To celebrate this special milestone COLAS brought together their customers, suppliers, industry affiliates and other key stakeholders who have been part of the journey for a special function held on 15 September at Darling Harbour. The event was graced by Glenn McGrath as the guest speaker and Sonya Kruger as master of ceremonies.
