COLAS Australia appoints Andy Ince as Group Major Projects and Asset Management Manager

Andy Ince joined COLAS Australia on August 5th 2022, as Group Major Projects and Asset Management Manager, directly reporting to COLAS Australia CEO Thierry Madelon.

Andy joins from Boral Limited where he was General Manager for Asphalt Operations for NSW/ACT, and a Board Member of the Connect Sydney Joint Venture (ServiceStream, Boral, Johnson Controls) that delivers the Sydney Harbour Zone as part of the Transport 4 New South Wales, Sydney Road Asset Performance Contract.

Andy will take over the management of COLAS Australia’s major projects from Les Millar, who we thank for his contribution to the group. Andy will work to develop the COLAS asset management business in Australia and New Zealand in the Road and Airport Infrastructure space.

Bringing over 35 years of experience in Roads and Airports Infrastructure in both major projects and maintenance, and prior to Boral, Andy worked in Western Australia as Downer’s General Manager of Road Infrastructure. Prior to Downer, he spent over 25 years with Lafarge in the UK in several senior management roles including Commercial Director where he was responsible for work winning, continuous improvement and innovation, and was the Lafarge representative that developed the organisation structure for the 2013 Lafarge Tarmac Joint Venture. Prior to the commercial director role, he was Contracting Director and lead the delivery of major projects and large maintenance contracts.
