OUR CRUCIAL WORK IN THE MIDWEST GASCOYNE REGION

We are thrilled to share that our Midwest Gascoyne (MWG) project is in full swing! Over the next few months, we will be working on approximately 2.5 million liters of S45R, blended by our CRB plant.

This project will span 53 shifts and is set to conclude by March 8th. Our team will be active on Great Northern Highway until January 19th, followed by two days of work on Carnarvon Road right after Australia Day, and then transitioning to Burkett Road for the first week of March. Originally budgeted at $10.4 million, we anticipate potential savings of up to $1.5 million.

The Midwest Gascoyne region covers over 600,000 square kilometers and is home to 65,000 residents. Road maintenance here is critical, not only for the residents, but this is a vital region
for the agricultural export industry in transporting wheat to port. The coastal towns near Shark Bay also enhance Australia’s strong tourism presence and Carnarvon is often deemed as WA’s “food bowl” due to its prominent food agricultural industries, making this project crucial for both the economy and our community.
