With a massive thank you to our management and IT team, COLAS has been able to donate 15 old work mobile phones to Domestic Violence Safe Phone charity. This initiative was started to help victims of domestic violence have access to a ‘safe phone’. Red Rose Foundation are working with this initiative to get the phones to those who need them.
The charity was very grateful for our contribution given the difference this could make to someone in a domestic violence situation. It doesn’t stop here though. Please keep in mind if you or someone in your family are upgrading a mobile phone, please consider donating it / upcycling to this initiative.
